Ecosystem modelling is the ideal tool when scaling from leaf to canopy. Basic development and testing of such a model by means of parallel measures of leaf gas exchange, canopy gas exchange, NDVI, biomass and climate in a semi-natural heath will aim at testing the model validity. Measurements on heather (Calluna vulgaris) and grass (Deschampsia flexuosa) in different proportions will be performed.
