The activities within the centre will involve four levels of activities organized in 6 work packages (WP). See diagram

Experimental activities:

WP1– Experimental facilities.
Design and building of the field site.

Research activities:

WP2 – Species responses.
Studies of the physiological response of individual organisms to climatic stress factors.

WP3 – Effects on community structure.
Studies of the impact of climatic factors on the ecosystem structure.

WP4 – Effects on ecosystem function.
Studies of the impacts of climatic factors on the overall functioning of terrestrial ecosystems.

Integrating research activities:

WP5 – Synthesis and integration.
Integration of the research activities in the different research areas and work packages.

Additional activities:

WP6 – SEND OUT.
Steering, Education, Networking, Dissemination and Output. Activities related to management of the centre and communication.
